Frequently asked questions
What should a lighting brief include?
The type and size of the space, the programme, any drawings or interior concept, what you need from the appointment (concept, technical pack, calculations only, emergency lighting, Part L) and who else is on the team. A short email with a plan attached is enough to start.
How quickly do you respond?
Within 24 hours on working days. Proposals follow once the scope is clear.
Do you visit site?
Yes, across London and the South East, for surveys, mock-ups, aiming and focusing and snagging. Design-only and calculations-only appointments are available anywhere in the UK.
How are fees structured?
Per stage, against a written scope, so you can appoint NR Lighting for a concept only, a full technical pack, calculations only or site support alone.
