Bentley, Brand Experience, Hatfield Showrooms
In this ultra-luxury Bentley VIP customization suite, lighting plays a crucial role in material selection. I layered elegant pendants, clean trimless downlights, and warm perimeter cove lighting to flawlessly render colour samples while maintaining an intimate, premium atmosphere.

Design targets
The figures below are the design targets set for the scheme, not measured values on site. They are the numbers the calculations, luminaire selection and control strategy were built around.
| Parameter | Target |
|---|---|
| Colour temperature (CCT) | 3000 K |
| Target illuminance | 400-600 lx |
| Installed lighting load | 8W/m² |
Approach
Showroom lighting is designed around what the vehicle reflects as much as what falls on it: large soft sources for the flanks, tight accents for the shoulder line and a floor kept quieter than the metal. Every scheme is checked in Dialux Evo before it is drawn, then documented as reflected ceiling plans, a luminaire schedule and a control narrative the contractor can price and install from.
